WIREDA fully updated and redesigned edition of Wired will be released by Radius Books in early 2025.
The new edition will feature updated photography and text, adding the story of developments in telephone wire baskets since the original, now out of print, book was released in 2005. Included in this edition are many new pieces made in the last twenty years and is being released in conjunction with a major exhibition of the David Arment Southern African Collection at the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe. David Arment and Jim Rimelspach have donated the collection to the Museum, and this is the first exhibition of wirework outside of South Africa. The book is soon to be available from Radius Books, The Museum of International Folk Art, Amazon, or wherever you purchase art books. www.radiusbooks.org |

DAVID ARMENTAn art consultant based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, I would welcome any feedback on this site. I am also a collector and a traveler, and can help advise you on African travel and collecting art. In addition to Zulu wirework, I collect photography, contemporary painting and sculpture, Native American pottery and TEQUILA!
I am also on the Board of Radius Books here in Santa Fe, and recommend you check out their offerings. radiusbooks.org This web site was an idea I had about ten years, and, here I am in 2020 making it a reality. Special thanks to Montana Currie for her design expertise. I look forward to hearing from you. [email protected] |
