HAND / EYE
Issue 09 of Hand/Eye featured artists from South Africa, and included two of my baskets on the front and back cover. Inside I provided an update on the telephone wire baskets.
The magazine is published, now on line, by our friend Keith Recker.

The Phansi Museum in Durban, South Africa is a wonderful place to experience the best collection of Southern African artifacts. Paul Mikula, the founder, has an incredible collection of early baskets and wirework, and the staff will gladly take the time to help you understand the history of their beautiful collection.
An art consultant based in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Dallas, Texas, I would welcome any feedback on this site. I am also a collector and a traveler, and can help advise you on African travel and collecting art. In addition to Zulu wirework, I collect photography, contemporary painting and sculpture, Native American pottery and TEQUILA!
I am also on the Board of Radius Books here in Santa Fe, and recommend you check out their offerings.
This web site was an idea I had about ten years, and, here I am in 2020 making it a reality. Special thanks to Montana Currie for her design expertise.
I look forward to hearing from you.
